Yamaha Portasound PSS-21 Synthetizer Battery Holder Terminal "crowned" with a small piece of copper foil to covered over the corroded end.
Althought cleaned the corroded end is blackened and this does not provide good electrical connection to the battery. Crowning with a thinned copper foil with a wire directly soldered to the foil ensures a good electrical connection to the battery.
