This is the bottom of the remote. Removing two screws allows the remote to be slightly twisted lengthwise and then prised opened with a flat blade screw driver.
Interesing thing is the screws needs a thorx 6 screwdriver which is normally not available to the average consumer. Shows that Philips dont really want you to open up the remote, unless you happened to be an above average consumer, like me.
However once removed the remote open up nicely, unless some of the other remotes which usually make having to break a little of the plastic catch holding the two halves together.
