Someone left me with a beautiful Sony RM-5150 remote control, mostly likely used to control a hifi combo system. It has buttons for video, phono, tuner, tape deck. ( Video could be for controlling a Sony TV )
Recently I was crazy about making Joule Thief powered LED flashlights. And one of the main problem is finding a suitable housing for the assembled Joule Thief.
This remote comes in handy to start a new life as a ultra bright blue LED torch.
