Philips Matchline TV Remote Control - Fully Reassembled

Finally all the pieces are assembled. A quick check with a camera shows that the remote is at least giving off infrared light with a key is pressed.
You need to use a CCD camera to see the infrared as the human eye cannot detect infrared light.
Most camera will be able to detect infrared unless the lens or the CCD have a built in infrared filter.
And voila, I am back in control of my Philips Matchline TV. Expect it to gives me many more years of service, unless LCD TVs get dirt cheap or OLED TV or SED TV or Laser TV comes on the market.
