Sony DXC 1200P Trinicon Studio Camera

The trinicon assembly of the Sony DXC 1200P studio camera. The metal barrel like assembly houses the horizontal and vertical deflection coils and the focusing coil. The large aluminium bulkhead is used to centered and stabilised the trinicon together with the lens assembly.
The trinicon is Sony's invention to have a color video camera using just one electron gun as against the normal ones using three electron guns.
The color separation is done using some clever shadow mask techniques at the photo sensor end of the camera.
