This is looking down inside the focusing coil from the terminals end of the trinicon.
Reminds me of a magnetic resonance imaging machine ( use MRI medical diagnosis ).
Can be a interesting toy to play with. Applying 12volts to the coil draw a current of 500ma. A compass place near one end becomes aligned parallel to the axis of the coil.
