Sony DXC 1200P Trinicon TV Studio Camera - TV Monitor PCB

The Sony DXC 1200P Trinicon TV Studio Camera TV Monitor deflection circuit board.
Note the heavy use of discrete electronics components. Note the use of 12 variable resistors or pots, this module could have been time consuming to manufacture as 12 pots needs to adjusted after assembly. Was it also due to the lack of good tolerance in the components used?
Most of these would have been replaced by integrated circuits except probablythe high voltage handling components in later years. Some small scale integrated circuits chips are found in the other pcbs in the tv camera.
( Incidently at the time this camera were produced, the integrated circuit , invented by Jack Kilby, is in its late teens )
Of course today monitors are usually LCD monitors.
